A high-level acrobat, Basko trained at the French National Center of Circus Arts (CNAC) and specialised in Korean and Hungarian teeterboard as well as trampoline. He participated in the first productions of BAM company before founding and touring with Cirque Inextremiste, a company known for their crazy feats and extreme risk-taking. Sylvain collaborated on the production of Extrémités, Extensions and Extreme Night Fever, currently on tour.

A versatile artist, Basko also performs as a musician in his circus creations.
